The Hirano Coating & Dry Oven System, manufactured by Japans HIRANO TECSEED Co., Ltd., is an industrial, precision roll-to-roll manufacturing solution engineered to apply uniform fluid coatings onto flexible substrates and dry them with extreme thermal accuracy.

The system tightly integrates advanced "coating and line control" with proprietary "heat and circulated air"

Key Components & Capabilities

High-Precision Coating Heads: Supports diverse application requirements using interchangeable configurations. This includes Die and Lip Coaters for ultra-thin films, Comma Coaters for precise gap control, and Gravure or Roll Coaters for high-speed versatility.

Advanced Air Nozzle Technology: The dry oven controls heat transfer and prevents film distortion through tailored air-nozzle designs. Floating Nozzles: Enable non-contact, double-sided drying by suspending the moving film on a cushion of air. Jet & Airfoil Nozzles: Balance high heat transfer with stable substrate transport. Counter-flow Nozzles: Deliver gentle, low-speed airflow to prevent surface skinning or wrinkling on delicate coatings.

Multi-Zone Temperature Control: Features segmented heating chambers. These chambers handle dry temperatures up to 200C (or higher) to customize evaporation rates across the line.

Robust Line Specifications: Production lines typically manage web widths ranging from 900 mm to 1,900 mm and maintain stable tension at line speeds spanning 30 to 250 meters per minute.
